Hackney Marshes Adventure Park
An award-winning adventure playground made for kids, by kids. Local children helped out with the design of this playground, which has all sorts of great things to play on like a space ship, a tree house a spinning maypole and a zip wire. Join in one of the weekly guided activities and have fun trying something new, like building a den or cooking on the outdoor barbeque.
Where is it?

Good to know
As well as the playground there’s a toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, education space and it’s wheel-chair friendly.
If you make a loud noise inside the space ship, it makes a cool echoey sound.

What we did: Year 4 Elm, Rushmore Primary School
Angela showed us around the playground. Then we took part in a map-making art challenge. Artists Emily and KJ helped us make a big pirate treasure map. We used all sorts of unusual things to make the map, like sticks, balls dipped in ink, and even some of the play equipment. You can see the map on display in the playground. We also had an awesome time playing together.
